Monday:

We worked on 1-3 of week 10 DOL.
We went over our vocabulary worksheet from the weekend in preparation for tomorrow's vocabulary quiz.

We completed our prep assignment for writing our 2 poems on the individual and the collective from Anthem.

Homework tonight is to study for the unit 8D vocabulary quiz.

Tuesday:
We went to the computer lab today and typed up our two paragraphs about the individual and the collective.  The paragraphs were turned in and we began our work on our graphic organizer for our paragraph on what is lost when we allow others to think for us.  Our graphic should be completed for homeowrk.

Wednesday:
We worked on writing on paragraphs based on our graphic.  We printed and the paragraphs and turned them in.

Thursday:
If our graphic was complete, we could use a laptop computer to begin typing our paragraphs.  If we did not have the graphic finished, we had to finish it and then begin typing at home.

Friday:
We turned in our draft paragaphs and began a portfolio reflection.  We were asked to go through our assessment portfolios and evaluate our progress during the first semester; this progress involved reading, writing, and setting goals for success in the second semester.
